Playground Bumps & Bruises

It’s summer and we’re all enjoying the outdoors; playing with our kids on the playground, soaking up the sun, and enjoying a slew of outdoor activities and sports.

Playground injuries are extremely common, with an average of over 200,000 reported cases per year. Falling from the monkey bars or tumbling off a swing may seem like a minor bump or bruise but falls such as these are notorious for causing subluxations, or misalignment of the vertebrae, in our children. Keep in mind, pain is the last symptom to appear and the first symptom to disappear and children aren’t always capable of expressing their discomfort.

Most subluxations are long standing and stem from childhood injuries. Get your children’s spines checked so their nervous system can perform optimally allowing them to heal, grow and to give them their best chance of a happy, healthy life!
